Registering in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) is the baseline requirement for any company that wants to do business with the U.S. federal government. As of this quarter, Forma Labs Technologies is officially registered and active — a small administrative milestone with outsized strategic meaning for a young company.
For us, SAM.gov registration is the first concrete step on a longer government-contracting roadmap. It makes us discoverable to contracting officers, eligible to bid on federal opportunities, and ready to receive awards when the right fit comes along.
It also sets up the next milestone: our Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification, currently in progress. Together, these credentials position Forma Labs to bring applied AI work to public-sector organizations that increasingly need it — with the same hands-on approach we take with private clients.
